Requirements & Responsibilities:
Social Media Designer JD Thellesi Co.
- Design compelling visual content to boost clients’ brand awareness and engagement on social media platforms
- Ideating, designing, posting and monitoring strategic social media campaigns
- Brief the production team for appealing images and videos
- Design visually impactful content – in cooperation with the rest of the creative team – to support clients’ short and long-term campaign goals
- Working with the Copywriter to ideate, design, produce digital content & toolkits needed for client projects for public consumption
- Managing clients’ social media accounts by posting content, engaging online followers, communities, and responding to inquiries, questions and comments on our social media pages in a timely and accurate manner for various social networks, including (but not exclusive to) from Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), LinkedIn, Twitter, and Tiktok
- Hands-on experience on using various social media platforms to advertise
- Understands the optimal posting times for posting and the appropriate content for each platform
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics),
- Track and report on Social Media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
- Assist with Thellesi’s communications strategy and creating digital content materials that will assist in promoting the work we do
- Ability to coordinate with internal teams to brainstorm, create impactful, engaging content and campaigns
- Possess excellent communication skills proficient in written English & Kiswahili. Colloquial language such as sheng, shembeteng will be an added advantage
- Ability to optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
- Ability to maintain a strong online voice and brand consistency
- Network with client and industry professionals

- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Social Media Manager

- It is an added advantage if one is self taught and highly self driven.
Start date: January 2nd 2023 with a three (3) month probationary period
